HB 2793       RELATING TO AGRICULTURE.
HSCR 194-00   Extends appropriation for the Agribusiness Development Corporation.
           (AGR,FIN)

HB 2406       RELATING TO AGRICULTURE.
HSCR 248-00   Allows the Deaprtment of Agriculture to authorize an authorized federal
           agency to act on its behalf, to a limited extent, and enforce statutes
           and rules regulating the movement of restricted items into the State or
           intrastate. (AGR,FIN)

HB 2405 HD1   RELATING TO PESTICIDES.
HSCR 53-00    Defines "integrated pest management" and amends the definition of
           "pest" under the Hawaii pesticides law.  Allows the pesticide use
           revolving fund (fund) to be used for the development of integrated pest
           management strategies and personnel costs. (AGR/EEP,FIN)

HB 2403       RELATING TO AQUACULTURE.
HSCR 399-00   Terminate the existence of the Hawaii Aquaculture Advisory Council.

HB 2404       RELATING TO AQUACULTURE.
HSCR 197-00   Authorizes DOA to charge fees for aquatic animal and plant health
           diagnostic services and for any items or expert services purchased from
           the department related to aquaculture planning, disease management, and
           the marketing of seafood products. (AGR/OMR,FIN)

HB 2997       RELATING TO AQUACULTURE LOANS.
HSCR 195-00   Increases the maximum amount of moneys that applicants may borrow for
           class A loans (aquaculture farm ownership and improvements loans),
           class B loans (aquaculture operating loans), and class C loans
           (aquaculture cooperative and corporation loans).  Extends the loan term
           for class C loans from three to seven years. (AGR,FIN)

HB 2996 HD1   RELATING TO AGRICULTURAL LOANS.
HSCR 249-00   Provides agricultural loans to qualified part-time farmers.  Reduces
           the state residency requirements for permanent resident aliens seeking
           financing under the State's agricultural loan program.  Enables the
           department of agriculture to provide loans to food manufacturers
           located in the State that utilize Hawaii-grown agricultural products.
